We can also advise on the declaration of both Portuguese and foreign- source income - pensions, interest, royalties and dividends - if necessary liaising with a client's home tax authority to ensure that any double taxation is avoided.
Under present legislation, all non-resident individual or corporate property owners must appoint a resident Fiscal Representative in Portugal. Sovereign is qualified to act as your Fiscal Representative and, in this capacity, will ensure that any correspondence or other communication from the Tax Department is received and dealt with swiftly and efficiently.
