Sonali is the Head of Compliance and Compliance Officer and Money Laundering Reporting Officer (MLRO), with over 10 years of experience across AML\/CFT, regulatory compliance, and corporate governance in the Middle East and India. She leads the Compliance function and is responsible for the overall design, implementation, and oversight of the firm\u2019s compliance frameworks across multiple jurisdictions.<\/span><\/p>\n

In her capacity as MLRO, Sonali has primary responsibility for the firm\u2019s AML\/CFT programme, including risk assessments, internal policies and procedures, client onboarding controls, transaction monitoring, and suspicious activity reporting. She oversees regulatory engagement, manages inspections and audits, and ensures alignment with applicable laws, regulations, and regulatory guidance. She also advises senior management and the board on financial crime risks, sanctions exposure, and broader compliance strategy.<\/p>\n

As Head of Compliance, Sonali drives the development and continuous enhancement of compliance frameworks, including KYC and customer due diligence standards, ongoing monitoring, and remediation initiatives. She plays a key role in embedding a strong compliance culture across the organisation, delivering training, strengthening internal controls, and ensuring a consistent, risk-based approach to regulatory obligations.<\/p>\n

In addition to her compliance leadership, Sonali brings a strong background in corporate governance, having served as Company Secretary for listed entities in India. Her experience includes managing board and committee processes, statutory and stock exchange filings, maintaining corporate records, and supporting incorporations and restructuring activities.<\/p>\n
