The team is growing in readiness for taking on Your Island Pension, a scheme introduced by the States of Guernsey to ensure that Guernsey residents are able to save money for retirement through their employment.

The Occupational Pensions team is a close-knit and hard-working team who enjoy the various social and fundraising events available at Sovereign Guernsey.
We are seeking a Senior Administrator to come support this new project- This role primarily involves the day to day administration of occupational pension schemes, as well as supporting the training needs of the administrators within the team
Responsibilities will include all relevant aspects associated with the day to day administration of the relevant portfolio of corporate clients, also with an insight into the administration of local and international personal pension schemes.
Duties include
- Dealing with all relevant administrative tasks relating to local and international occupational pension schemes;
- Responding to and actioning queries and administrative requests from clients, members, intermediaries, introducers and other relevant third parties;
- Testing, updating and day to day use of all relevant systems;
- Creation of client and member online access on the relevant systems;
- Supporting clients and members with access to and use of the relevant systems;
- Following processes to ensure accurate administration and record keeping on the relevant systems;
- Preparing investment instructions and liaising with relevant investment managers and other third parties as required;
- Preparing documents for review and signoff by relevant management team;
- Liaising with the accounts and compliance departments
- Develop a sound knowledge of the relevant products and services;
Skills and Experience
- Previous Financial services administration experience ( Ideally pensions but not essential)
- The enthusiasm and willingness to learn
