Lynette Chaudhary, Tax Director of Sovereign Fiscalis Limited, now rebranded and trading as Sovereign Tax Services, is a UK Chartered Tax Adviser. Lynette specialises in providing personal tax and residency services to Gibraltar private clients, and UK tax services to non-UK residents (individuals, trusts or pension schemes). Lynette has over 20 years tax experience and her expertise enables her to dual-handle both Gibraltar and UK personal tax advice and compliance. Prior to relocating to Gibraltar in 2005, Lynette worked in expatriate and private client tax in the UK, for Andersen and KPMG. Lynette is a member of the UK’s Chartered Institute of Taxation and Association of Taxation Technicians and graduated with a law degree. A new tax professionals’ organisation, the Gibraltar Association of Tax Advisers (GATA) was formed in February 2023, of which Lynette is a founding member and the Technical Officer. Lynette is also Trustee of the Sovereign Art Foundation, Gibraltar (charity number 337).

Morgan joined Sovereign Wealth in 2023 as a Compliance and Risk Officer.

With over seven years of experience in the banking sector, Morgan brings a strong background in regulatory compliance and the monitoring of financial activities.

Morgan is a Qualified Financial Advisor, having successfully completed the QFA examinations, along with a BA (Hons) in Business Studies and a Level 6 Diploma in Anti-Money Laundering from the International Compliance Association.

Morgan is currently working with the Sovereign Gibraltar Retirement Benefit Scheme, providing advisory support for the Consumer Duty backed scheme. With a deep understanding of the Consumer Duty obligations, Morgan is committed to promoting fair outcomes for customers while effectively managing risk and compliance and maintaining a client-first approach.

Victoria Zarcu

Victoria joined Sovereign Wealth in 2023. Prior to relocating to Gibraltar, Victoria lived in Jersey, Channel Islands, for 16 years. She worked for the Jersey Companies Registry and the Supervision Department of the Jersey Financial Services Commission. Prior to that, Victoria was the director of a bespoke travel agency.

Victoria first joined Sovereign Wealth as Money Laundering Reporting Officer and since assumed additional responsibility as Head of Compliance.

In June 2024, Victoria was appointed as director with AML responsibilities to the Sovereign Wealth Board.

Victoria has a university degree and two Master degrees. She holds an Advanced Certificate in Anti Money Laundering and the Diploma in Financial Crime Prevention issued by the International Compliance Association.

Victoria is also a member of the Gibraltar Association of Compliance Officers.
Her key responsibilities include the development, implementation, and delivery of the firm’s legal compliance programme. Victoria provides the prime interface and is responsible for all reporting to the regulator.

In her spare time Victoria is a keen gardener.

Paul Firth-Murison

Paul, a proud native of Gibraltar, joined Sovereign Wealth as a paraplanner in April 2022, bringing with him five years of dedicated experience in the financial services industry. Leveraging his expertise, Paul has provided holistic advice to clients internationally and was promoted to Wealth Advisor for Sovereign Wealth in June 2024.

Paul is a member of the Chartered Insurance Institute (CII) and holds a Diploma in Regulated Financial Planning. He is currently pursuing further qualifications towards the Advanced Diploma and Chartered Financial Planner designation, demonstrating his commitment to providing valued service.

In his spare time, Paul frequents the golf course, where his handicap has seen little to no progression, and he is an avid motorcyclist, enjoying the mountainous, hilly roads of the southern coast of Spain.

Having relocated to Gibraltar from the UK in 2022, Gerard joined Sovereign as a Wealth Adviser and now offers Wealth Management advice specialising in pension structures and off-shore investments.

Having worked in Financial Services previously whilst in the UK he brought with him an established wealth of knowledge which he has successfully tailored to allow for the intricacies of off-shore investing.

Gerard holds a number of qualifications, achieved through the Chartered Insurance Institute, including the Level 4 Diploma in Regulated Financial Planning and Level 4 Certificates in Discretionary Investment Management and Securities Advice & Dealing.

He has continued his studies since joining the company and is close to achieving the status of Chartered Financial Planner with additional study planned to progress to a Fellow of the CII.

Gavin Doughty

Gavin Doughty joined the Sovereign Wealth team as a Wealth Adviser in late 2018. His earlier years were spent working within the local pension market covering both the occupational and private schemes as well as assisting with QROPS transfers for resident and non-resident clients alike. He has since moved away from these areas and now focuses primarily on the needs of the group’s trust & corporate clients and their owners personal wealth management working closely with his colleagues around the group’s global offices. After having worked in a variety of roles in a vast array of industries in numerous locations around the globe he has been working in the financial industry since joining HSBC Premier in Paris in 2010 as a Relationship Manager and has been working in the off-shore and pension space since moving to Gibraltar in 2015. A native English speaker he is fluent in French and has a good level of Spanish.

Eamon Bermingham

Eamon left Dublin for Jersey in 1997 on a graduate programme. He worked for various investment managers in Jersey before joining a local Independent Financial Adviser who had purchased two businesses in Spain. Eamon subsequently acquired these business in 2010 and relocated with his family to Marbella. Eamon joined Sovereign as a consultant to the Pensions team in 2011 and became Investment Director for Sovereign Pensions (SPS) in December 2012 . SPS established investment guidelines which became industry standard. Eamon joined the board of Sovereign Asset Management in 2015 and was appointed Managing Director in April 2018. Eamon has re-branded Sovereign Asset Management to Sovereign Wealth (SW) and completely changed the business model. SW now assist Sovereign Group clients ranging from Trusts, Companies, Private clients as well as occupational pension schemes.

Eamon holds an MBA as well as various Investment and ESG qualifications.

She is responsible for leading the marketing strategy and content across these business lines, as well as managing the social media presence for Sovereign’s Gibraltar, Malta and Guernsey offices. She also oversees the marketing for Your Island Pension, the States of Guernsey-backed secondary pension scheme administered by Sovereign Pension Services (CI) Ltd.
