She has over 15 years’  experience working as a Client Accountant managing a portfolio of clients within industries ranging from Trusts, yacht holding and chartering companies, financial services and consulting and professional services companies. She also has vast experience in Maltese VAT and Tax Compliance.

Olivia studied, completed and was awarded the Banking Course certificate in Malta and is currently pursuing her studies at the Association of Chartered Accountants (ACCA).

]]> Jean Paul joined the Malta Sovereign office in 2021 as Assistant Finance Manager, bringing with him years of experience in the Financial Services industry. He holds an ACCA qualification and a Diploma in VAT Compliance, and is a member of both ACCA and the Malta Institute of Accountants.

He began his career in audit, working across diversified sectors including retail, cooperatives, insurance brokerage, and manufacturing. He later specialised in client accounting, supporting a wide range of businesses and individuals. Over time, his role expanded to include financial planning and analysis (FP&A), budgeting, and forecasting, where he developed a strong focus on cost control and operational efficiency.

In 2024, Jean Paul was appointed Head of Finance for the Pensions, Wealth, and Insurance segment within the Sovereign Group. In this leadership role, he continues to drive financial strategy, enhance reporting frameworks, and support sustainable growth across the business.

]]> Ann Marie is a Certified Public Accountant and a member of both the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) and the Malta Institute of Accountants. She started out her finance career in the pharmaceutical industry in 2013, where she gained experience across payables, receivables, product pricing, and reporting – all while working towards her professional qualification. She later moved into client accounting, where she developed a deeper understanding of how to support different businesses with their financial needs.

Today, with Sovereign, Ann Marie leads a team dedicated to both internal reporting and client accounting, while continuing to build on her expertise and develop her professional skills.
