]]> Juan Sanchez is a Client Relationship Manager within the Corporate and Trust Services team at Sovereign Trust (Gibraltar) Limited. In this role, he acts as the primary point of contact for clients and professional advisers, handling complex service requirements, managing international corporate structures and trusts, and executing high-value transactions with a holistic, client-first approach.

Juan holds an LLB (Hons) in ‘Law with Business’ at Nottingham Trent University, alongside an MBA from the University of Gibraltar. He brings valuable industry experience from his previous roles within the fiduciary sector, as well as legal internships with top Gibraltar Law firms.

Juan is multilingual in English, Spanish, and French & combines a global perspective from living in five different countries with practical expertise in document drafting, regulatory adherence, and financial remediation. Dedicated to delivering excellence in the sector, he is currently pursuing further professional specialization through the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners (STEP).

]]> John started his career in HMRC in the UK 38 years ago, then moved into the private sector (an accountancy firm). He returned to Gibraltar in 2000 for family reasons, where he joined Sovereign. He then worked for another company service provider as a trust officer, dealing with sales enquiries which would also involve looking at business accounts. This gave him a thirst for further accounting knowledge and he embarked on ACCA’s Qualification course to train as an accountant.

The change in career path found John a position as an Account Manager with Willis Towers Watson (WTW). Here he learned that insurance accounting is not for the faint hearted.

John returned to trust and company administration with STM after five years with WTW. STM was then acquired by Sovereign and he is back where it all started, and is a Senior Manager for Sovereign Trust (Gibraltar) Ltd.

John is a member of the following: Society of Trust & Estate Practitioners; Association of Taxation Technicians; Chartered Governance Institute UK & Ireland; John is also an affiliate of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants.

Promoted to Head of Business Development in January 2023, he assists entrepreneurs and businesses with setting up companies and trust structures on a global basis. Ejaz has a strong financial and sales background. After graduating from Edinburgh Napier University, he joined Lloyds Banking Group where he worked in a number of positions including Risk Manager and Relationship Director. After 12 years, he moved to London to join a Fintech company as Head of EMEA and NAM, before progressing to Global Head of Inside Sales. Married to a Gibraltarian, Ejaz and his wife relocated to Gibraltar following the birth of their daughter in 2022.

Jade worked for the Gibraltar Regulatory Authority for almost 5 years where she gained a wealth of knowledge and experience in advising on data protection matters. She engaged locally with a range of businesses, schools, charities and public authorities to promote and support compliance with data protection legislation. Additionally, in international engagement Jade has been a speaker at a conference hosted by the European Data Protection Supervisor in Brussels on Data Protection Impact Assessments and Prior Consultation.
