Simon has 30 years’ experience and expertise in the international private client tax planning, trustee, corporate services, fiduciary, pension trustee and the market entry industry.

His career started with The Consult Group in the Principality of Andorra. Thereafter he relocated to Gibraltar to ultimately commence a career with the Sovereign Group. Simon became the MD of Sovereign Trust in Gibraltar, HQ of their global Group where he served two terms as Chairman of the Association of Trust & Company Managers and was a member of the Gibraltar Government Financial Sector Legislation Committee.

Simon was previously a Director of the Sovereign Group and Chairperson of the UK Chapter of The Offshore Institute. He is currently the Vice President of the Royal Society of Fellows, is a member of the Institute of Management and is the Founder and Chairman of the International Professionals Association Ltd. He is a regular lecturer and speaker at tax planning and financial services conventions around the world.

David has been operating in the financial markets for over 30 years in the banking, accounting and corporate service sectors. David has experience with both private and corporate clients, advising on their international expansion ambitions. Having lived in and worked in Denmark, Cyprus, Spain, Hong Kong and Kenya, he is well experienced to assist, support and advise his clients.

David joined Sovereign UK in May 2017 to expand further the UK’s corporate services to respond to the increasing market demands for UK companies intending to invest, expand and operate internationally. David has significant experience of the regulatory, compliance and commercial considerations of both the UK and global environments.

David helps companies of many different sizes, sectors and industries set up, expand internationally and grow in many difference countries. He helps clients navigate expansion into new markets, including establishing offices, obtaining the necessary licensing to operate in foreign markets and ongoing services, such as compliance and payroll.

Jo has worked in the trust and fiduciary business for over 20 years beginning her career in 2003 with Fidux Trust Company Limited in Gibraltar before moving to Sovereign’s Gibraltar Head Office.

After obtaining a qualifying law degree, in 2012 Jo moved to our Guernsey office to take up the position of Operations Director, heading up its T&C and QROPS business. After two and a half years she moved back to our Gibraltar office taking up the position of Operations Director of the QROPS business.

Jo returned to the UK in 2017 to take up the position of Operations Director of Sovereign’s registered pension scheme administration company and has been an executive director of Sovereign Corporate and Trustee Services Limited since 2019, based in our Chester office. Jo is a member of the Institute of Directors.
