Paul has lived and worked in the GCC for over 14 years. Having joined Barclays Bank, he re-located from England to Dubai to help develop the bank’s Corporate Emerging Markets division. In August 2008 he joined Lloyds Bank’s Commercial Banking unit in Dubai, where he was responsible for the management of a debt restructuring portfolio valued at US $135 million. Paul was then selected for the Group’s ‘Leaders of the Future’ initiative, mentoring peers in preparation for the sale of Lloyds Middle East consumer and corporate banking assets to HSBC in a deal worth US $800 million.
Since 2013, Paul has supported hundreds of individuals, SMEs and multinational corporations across many industry sectors in developing their market-entry, merger and acquisition, or growth strategies in both the UAE and the KSA. Given the nature and scale of these projects and operations, he often works alongside professional law and accountancy firms who value his best-practice approach and efficient working relationship with their mutual clients.
