Incubator Manager

Reporting to: Managing Partner

Hours: 40 hours per week

Location: Manama, Bahrain

JOB PURPOSE

To provide the services related to government regulations and approvals and at the same time to contribute/assist in the business operations whenever required.

 

MAIN DUTIES

  • Develop new business and introduce the incubator to intermediaries.
  • Handle the communication between the incubator and the SME’s Directorate.
  • Handle the communication between the incubator and the clients, and cross sell.
  • Handle the process of landing new clients (preparing the service agreement/ invoices/ payments etc.)
  • Make sure the Incubator is in a good standing.
  • Submitting the required reports to the SME’s Directorate.
  • Coordinate and arrange for training events.

 

PERSON SPECIFICATIONS

  • Excellent organisational skills
  • Very good oral and written communication skills in English and Arabic
  • Previous experience in a government liaison role/PRO in the Bahrain
  • Previous experience in a Business center or Incubator in the Bahrain
  • Excellent knowledge of all regulations in Bahrain
  • High level of interpersonal skills to work effectively particularly with local government bodies
  • A good deal of common sense, etiquette and an ability to think on one’s feet
  • Ideally educated to degree level (A’ level education considered)
  • Good computer literacy (MS Office, Excel)
  • Excellent organisational skills
  • Professional telephone manner
  • Proven ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines
  • Bright, confident personality
  • Well presented
  • Highly personable Flexible and mature approach with ability to work unsupervised
