The Senior Client Accountant is expected to maintain relationships with clients and provide financial advice and support. The senior client accountant is also responsible for analysing financial data and developing financial reports for clients. They must ensure compliance with industry regulations and collaborate with other departments to ensure that client needs are met. The senior client accountant plays a vital role in managing multiple projects and deadlines effectively.
- Manage the financial accounts of clients, ensuring that all financial transactions are accurate and in compliance with regulations
- Maintain relationships with clients and provide financial advice and support
- Communicate with clients regularly to discuss financial performance and opportunities for improvement
- Analyse financial data and develop financial reports for clients
- Ensure compliance with industry regulations and standards
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure that client needs are met
- Manage multiple projects and deadlines effectively
- Train and mentor junior accountants in the team
- Coach client accountant to senior client accountant
- Observe and encourage observation of policies and procedures
- Ensure that your allocated team meet internal and statutory deadlines
Qualification, Experience and Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or a related field
- At least 5-8 years of relevant experience in finance or accounting
- Experience train a team
- Proficiency in financial software and tools
- Strong financial analysis skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines effectively
- Knowledge of industry regulations and compliance requirements
- Professional certification is a plus
