Hatim Smith

Hatim Smith is a Client Relationship Manager within the Corporate and Trust Services team at Sovereign Trust (Gibraltar) Limited. He manages a diverse portfolio of international trusts and corporate structures, with a particular focus on South African private and corporate clients.

His role centres on the ongoing management of offshore structures and complex cross-border matters, acting as a primary point of contact for clients and coordinating with lawyers, banks, investment advisers and other professional service providers across multiple jurisdictions. Hatim takes a relationship-led approach, working closely with clients to understand their objectives and coordinate their wider structuring and fiduciary requirements.

Prior to joining Sovereign, Hatim gained two years of experience within the fiduciary sector at Hassans International Law Firm. He holds the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners (STEP) Certificate in International Trust Management, achieved with Distinction, and is continuing his professional development with STEP towards achieving the STEP Diploma.
