Melissa Cunningham is a Client Relationship Manager with over nine years’ experience in the fiduciary services industry. She specialises in the administration of trusts, companies, and wealth structures, with a particular focus on servicing Sovereign’s South African client portfolio.

Melissa manages a diverse portfolio of trusts and their underlying companies, acting as the principal point of contact for clients, professional advisers, and other stakeholders. She has experience in trust and company administration, corporate governance, regulatory compliance, banking matters, restructurings, and wealth preservation structures.

Melissa is committed to building strong client relationships and delivering practical, solution-driven support while ensuring the highest standards of service and compliance. She works closely with clients and professional advisers across multiple jurisdictions to assist with their ongoing fiduciary and corporate requirements and is dedicated to understanding her clients’ needs and helping them navigate the complexities of international wealth and estate planning structures.

Melissa has successfully completed the STEP Certificate in International Trust Management and is currently working towards obtaining her full STEP qualification, further enhancing her technical knowledge and expertise in trusts and estate planning.
