Reshma Ramyead is a seasoned leader in the financial services industry in Mauritius, with over two decades of experience spanning intermediary brokerage, trust and corporate services, and operational leadership. She began her career in 2004 at a leading international intermediary brokerage, where she managed top-performing sales consultants and developed a strong foundation in client relationship management and business operations.
In 2009, Reshma transitioned into the global business sector, joining a local Management Company where she oversaw the administration of offshore companies, trusts, and wealth management structures. Her expertise in regulatory compliance and fiduciary services quickly became a hallmark of her professional journey.

Reshma joined Sovereign Mauritius in 2015 as Administration Manager and was promoted to Operations Director in 2017. In this role, she was instrumental in optimizing internal processes and ensuring regulatory compliance across local and international jurisdictions.

In 2022, she was appointed Managing Director of the Mauritius Sovereign Outsourcing Company. Under her leadership, the company evolved from a headcount-based model to a thriving shared services model, growing to over 70 employees. She held this position until February 2024, leaving behind a legacy of innovation, growth, and team empowerment.
Currently serving as the Trust and Corporate Governance Director at Sovereign Mauritius, Reshma oversees the company’s regulatory and governance frameworks, ensuring alignment with evolving legal standards and best practices.

Reshma is an Affiliate of the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners (STEP), FAIQ qualified and holds a Diploma in Communication Studies from the University of Mauritius. She is also a member of the Mauritius Institute of Directors (MIOD) and is an Approved Officer with the Financial Services Commission of Mauritius.
