Zana Jablan Musa

Zana is a qualified lawyer and Board Member of Sovereign’s GCC offices, where she is responsible for operations, strategy, and regulatory governance across the Middle East. With over 18 years of legal and business experience, she specialises in UAE and GCC corporate structuring, regulatory compliance, and cross-border governance.
She personally led Sovereign’s successful engagement with the DIFC and DFSA to obtain its Corporate Services Provider (CSP) licence and advises clients on complex structuring under ADGM and DIFC frameworks. Zana also has specialist expertise in the virtual assets sector, supporting VASPs with licensing, compliance, and regulatory engagement in the UAE.
Her academic background includes an LLM in Commercial and Corporate Law from Queen Mary University of London, a Master’s in European Studies from the University of Bologna, and an LLB in Law from the University of Sarajevo. She is multilingual, speaking Bosnian/Croatian/Serbian natively, fluent English, and conversational Spanish and German.
In addition to her regulatory expertise, Zana advises on corporate registration, licensing, asset protection, immigration, and strategic business planning across the GCC.
