Established in 2025, Pensions, Wealth, and Insurance (PWI) combines the expertise of Sovereign Group’s retirement planning offices in Malta, Gibraltar, and Guernsey, along with its Wealth and Insurance divisions. Under a unified leadership team, PWI provides a comprehensive range of services in pension administration, wealth management, and insurance solutions.
PWI’s retirement planning offices oversee a wide variety of retirement schemes, offering tailored solutions for effective pension planning. Sovereign Wealth delivers investment advice and asset management services to PWI clients. Sovereign Insurance offers a complete suite of insurance services, ensuring clients have access to the full range of coverage they may need.
Job Purpose
We are looking for a motivated and organised People Operations Assistant to provide first-level support in our People department, providing initial assistance to employees. The ideal candidate will assist with daily People operations, handle initial employee enquiries, and support various functions to ensure smooth and effective People processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Align with, and enable Mission, Vision, Values and Goals through leading by example and providing a positive employee experience
- Act as the first point of contact for employee questions and inquiries related to HR policies, benefits, and procedures
- Provide basic support for HR processes including managing the initial recruitment stages, onboarding, and offboarding
- Assist in maintaining employee records and HR databases accurately and confidentially
- Support recruitment activities by scheduling interviews and coordinating communication with candidates, and agencies
- Assist in preparing documentation, and reports
- Management of Sovereign People our HRIS and ensure data is kept up to date
Knowledge and Skills Required:
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with absolute discretion
- Knowledge of HR policies and procedures.
- Proficient in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Employee service orientation with a solution focused mindset.
- Familiarity with HRIS systems.
