Leigh Higgins

Leigh has over 30 years’ worth of experience in the finance industry in Guernsey, initially working for a firm of chartered accountants and then moving to the fiduciary sector in 1995. He joined a locally-owner managed firm as a client accountant before becoming a director and shareholder. Leigh joined Sovereign in 2013 to head up its trust & company team in Guernsey and became a director in 2014.  Following a restructure of the Guernsey office in 2020 Leigh continues in his role as operations director of the trust & company side of the business and also provides support and guidance to his colleagues in the pensions team. He is a fellow of the Association of Accounting Technicians.
