Following publication of the Finance Bill 2023, we will be assessing its implications for companies, pension schemes and individuals, and examining the following structuring solutions:

UK Family Investment Companies (FICs) – implications of new Corporation Tax changes for:

  • UK property investment FICs
  • UK investment FICs
  • Overseas FICs

Overseas Pension Schemes

  • Impact of the abolition of the Lifetime Allowance (LTA)
  • Property investment planning using overseas pension schemes

Overseas trust planning for non-UK domiciled individuals – are benefits dependent on the remittance basis of taxation for:

  • Excluded Property Trusts (EPTs)
  • Flexible property trusts and ‘carve-out’ trust planning for non-UK domiciles investing in UK property
