Best Wine – Dominus 2012. A Napa Valley wine made by France’s Christian Moueix. Parker gave it 100 points and Simon can see why. Awesome and pretty good value for the quality.
Best Restaurant – Beef Bar in Hong Kong. The Hong Kong branch of the Monaco restaurant operated by the team from Otto. The cheapest steak is the best – the hanger steak.
Best Book – Simon hasn’t read anything apart from Private Eye and The Week this month
Best Film – The new Star Wars. Well, it had to be didn’t it?
Best Music – Black Star by David Bowie. Not actually that good in Simon’s opinion but you have to listen to it out of respect. RIP Mr Bowie.
